THE FUTURE OF WATER IN ARIZONA, OCT. 10

 

Residents are invited to learn both the short-term (10 to 20 years) and
the long-term (40 to 50 years) availability of water in Arizona in a
free forum from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Chaparral Suites,
northeast corner of Chaparral and Scottsdale roads.  Panel members will
include President of the Maricopa County Board at the Central Arizona
Project Susan Bitter Smith; Arizona Department of Water Resources
Director Herbert Guenther; Arizona State University (ASU) Professor of
Geography Pat Gober; and ASU Associate Professor of History Paul Hirt.
President of the Arizona School of Real Estate and Business Bill Gray
will serve as moderator.  The Government Affairs Committee of the
Scottsdale Area Association of Realtors is sponsoring the forum. Call
